Andrew O'Keefe is the Australian Chairman of the White Ribbon Foundation. He is best known as the host of Channel 7's Deal or No Deal, and as co-host of Weekend Sunrise, also on the Seven Network.

Andrew is a member of the National Council to Reduce Violence Against Women. Andrew's past experience includes four years as a solicitor with Allens Arthur Robinson and a short time with the Public Interest Advocacy Centre.
 
Libby Lloyd
Libby Lloyd

Libby is a former president of UNIFEM Australia and has been actively engaged in the White Ribbon Campaign in Australia since 2003.


Libby is the Chair of the National Council to Reduce Violence Against Women. She worked intermittently over 14 years in the Commonwealth Public Service and as a United Nations professional officer for five years, in two separate assignments.

The first was with the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) in Indonesia, working with Indo-Chinese boat people (1979-82).

The second, again for UNHCR, was in Iraq (1989-90) working with Iranian refugees, with displaced workers from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, and with the Australian and other foreign hostages in Iraq.


Libby now runs a management consultancy, working mainly in the area of cross cultural awareness, program and service review. She is also involved in a range of community support activities.

In 1992 Libby was made a Member of the Order of Australia for her contribution to refugees and to the international community in Iraq and Kuwait

Rosemary Calder

Rosemary Calder is Director of PPR Consulting Pty Ltd, a specialty consultancy established to provide policy, planning and review expertise in health and social policy and services to government, business and community.

She has more than 20 years experience in policy, planning and review of aged care and sub-acute health services for government and in the non-government sectors.

She is a specialist in health and aged care service and research planning, development, delivery and evaluation.


Prior to establishing PPR Consulting, Rosemary had 13 years experience as a senior public servant for Victorian and Commonwealth governments with substantial experience in service review and redevelopment at local, state, national and international levels.


Rosemary led the Commonwealth Government initiative - Partnerships Against Domestic Violence: and initiated a developmental strategy, A Business Approach, to engage business in recognising and responding to the impacts that domestic violence has on women and men in the workplace.

 
Leigh Gassner
Leigh Gassner
Dr Leigh Gassner is a consultant who until until recently was a member of Victoria Police for 33 years achieving the level of Assistant Commissioner.  

Leigh was co-chair of the Statewide Steering Committees to "Reduce Family Violence" and "Reduce Sexual Assault".

These committees take a social leadership role in the State, on behalf of the Victorian Government, on these important community issues.

Leigh has successfully led the committees to development and implementation of the Victoria Police Code of Practice for the Investigation of Family Violence and obtained an Australian Research Council linkage research grant with Ballarat University into police response to sexual assault.  These committees were also successful in achieving positive funding submissions for an integrated response to family violence, and for a multi-skilled sexual assault investigation facility.

Also achieved was the development and implementation of Reforming the Family Violence System in Victoria involving a "whole of government and community" response to family violence.
Leigh has also worked with the Australian Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission in China in promoting violence against women as an international human rights issue.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Administration, Australia (Victoria Division) and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
