Welcome to the White Ribbon Campaign website.
Prime Minister Kevin Rudd showed his commitment to the White Ribbon Campaign, and as a long-standing
White Ribbon Ambassador, by attending our ACT Ambassador’s gathering on Wednesday 25 June at Parliament House.
Tanya Plibersek, Federal Minister for the Status of Women and Federal Minister for Housing also attended the event, and addressed the Ambassadors, supporters, and media about the
Government’s $1million funding to the White Ribbon Campaign over the next four years.
The Prime Minister had an opportunity to speak with many of the Ambassadors at the function and reiterated his commitment to reducing violence against women in Australia.
We are delighted that Prime Minister Kevin Rudd will also be attending and delivering the keynote speech at our upcoming
White Tie Dinner on September 17 at the Four Seasons in Sydney. If your company would like to be part of this gala event you can
download the invitation here.
Also, remember to note White Ribbon Day - November 25 - in your diary! Plus we will have a new merchandise item on sale this year, in addition to the ribbons, so make sure you visit this website for regular updates!
