* Part of a growing network of men and women who are working together to create social change by motivating others

* Talk about the issue of violence against women with colleagues, friends and family;

* Sell White Ribbons or wristbands, especially around White Ribbon Day;

* Nominate a suitable man in your community as a White Ribbon Ambassador;

* Utilise your existing networks – sporting, faith-based, school, work or community – to hold an event in your community;

* Hold a BBQ, breakfast, trivia night or family picnic for White Ribbon Day. You may like to charge an entry fee and sell White Ribbons and wristbands to raise funds for the Foundation;

* Hold a ‘Swearing Day’ where all the men in your community swear never to commit, excuse or remain silent about violence against women. Swear online at www.myoath.com.au ;

* Invite a White Ribbon Ambassador to speak at your workplace or school – please fill-in the Ambassador Request Form;

* Organise a march to a local landmark – invite all the men in your community and encourage them to wear white t-shirts;

* Hold a sponsored walk, run or bike ride where all the participants wear white tshirts. Create a page on Everyday Hero or My Cause to manage your fundraising and sponsorship;

* Make a giant White Ribbon from fabric or paper and ask all the men in the town to sign it and pledge their commitment to ending violence against women;

* Organise a Loudest Shout event such as ac.care’s White Ribbon Loudest Shout in Mt Gambier;

* Ask the men in your community to all wear white tshirts, then get them to assemble in a large open space in formation to create a “living White Ribbon”. Make sure you take a photograph!

* In lieu of gifts for a birthday or celebration, create an  Everyday Hero or My Cause page and ask your friends to make a donation;

* Ask your local sports clubs to hold a White Ribbon Round where all the players wear white armbands or jerseys and sell ribbons or wristbands at the event.
